With so many standards, tools, frameworks and methodologies available for supporting Quality Management systems, many small and medium organisations struggle to determine where they should start when implementing a QM system for the first time, or which current best practice methodologies best fit their needs and most effectively supports their teams, products and customers. The choices and complexities of issues is challenging enough alone in the IT services and support industries, hence we our article and related documents will focus on quality management systems and process improvement solutions that meet best practice in the IT support areas.
Whilst there are many solutions to a company or organisation's quality management needs, the final solution may end up to be an integrated combination of a few methodologies.
