Quality Desktop Support - Overview

This part of the Quality Help site is geared towards more practical 'How-to' articles.

Many desktop PC end-users have an incomplete understanding of how their machines actually work and things they can do to prevent problems. While some issues will always need to be attended to by qualified and experienced Technicians, it is hoped that information here can help you decide if these are something you can fix yourself or whether to call a technician.

The Quality Help Organisation hopes to simplify Quality Management training and it's effective application in the IT services and support industries. It doesn't profess to be an expert nor an authority on any of the Quality Management methodologies that are promoted or referred to in this sites contents. The fundamental objects are to promote, support and debate the various quality standards, methodologies and tools available for setting up rigorous and effective Quality Management Systems in IT.

This is a non-commercial site developed by, and for technical support staff and managers with an interest in sharing and supporting work experiences based on quality management principles and techniques. We have to start somewhere (with a simple baseline), and you should expect this site to mature and improve over time, by self application of the principles of Continual Improvement and Corrective Actions we are advocating.
